Postpartum Depression

This protocols treats postpartum depression whether it is mild, moderate, or severe. Though postpartum depression usually shows within four weeks of the delivery of a baby, it can occur up to 18 months after the baby is born.

Signs and symptoms include flat emotional affect, inability to bond with the baby, an increase in irritation and aggravation, poor appetite, withdrawal and social isolation, disconnection from family, lack of pleasure in life, poor energy, suicidal thoughts and thoughts of death, insomnia, or combinations thereof.
