I live in San Miguel de Allende. It's a charming village in central Mexico known for its' beautiful buildings, pretty colors, and cobblestone streets. And also broken and sprained wrists, largely thanks to those charming cobblestone streets. I've had a lot of occasion to treat painful wrists in the last year and a half!
These series of points are mirror images to pain and sprain in the wrist. As with any acupuncture treatment, identify the affected channels first. Wrist sprains can damage one or any combination of the Small Intestine, San Jiao, Large Intestine, Lung, Pericardium, and Heart meridians.
Needle one or more of the following on the affected side as a guide point, picking the points by channel/s affected. Small Intestine: Bladder 60 San Jiao: Gallbladder 40 Large Intestine: Stomach 41 Lung: Spleen 5 Pericardium: Liver 4 Heart: Kidney 3
